Product Description

The Saplings Junior Bed has a simple, solid design that’s durable as well as good-looking. It's available in a great range of colours- White, Antique, Natural, Blue, or Pink.

It's designed to be lower to the ground than a single bed, so it's easy for toddlers to climb in and out. It comes complete with two side rails for added safety that can be removed when no longer needed.

The bed has slatted head and foot boards that provide an attractive detail. This junior bed will make your little one feel extra grown up!

A mattress and/or rollaway drawer are optional and can be added at an additional cost when ordering.

Optional Mattress

The Junior Bed requires a 140 x 69cm mattress. We have 3 different optional mattresses available.

The Foam Mattress is made with a superior grade foam, giving excellent comfortable support for your baby. It has an easy clean cover and is fully air permeable and reversible.

The Sprung Mattress is a luxurious fully sprung mattress that has been designed to provide healthy, properly supported sleep. It has all the same features as the Foam Mattress but the core of the mattress is made of a high-quality mini-bonnell spring unit.

The Cool Flow Sprung Mattress is our high-quality sprung mattress providing superior support and long term durability. It also has a removable cover for easy washing. The mattress is breathable and allows baby's body heat to dissipate throughout to assist baby's temperature control. A topper pad is added to the mattress for extra comfort.

Optional Rollaway Drawer

Saplings makes a very useful rollaway drawer to place under this bed. It's easily manoeuvred on four castors. It makes ideal under bed storage and matches the bed colour of your choice perfectly. Rollaway Drawer Size 100 x 54.5 x 12cm.

Please note: When you choose an optional mattress and/or drawer, the displayed price on this page will automatically change.

I am guessing you want to move her out to make room for the baby? Unless she is niimblcg out and hurting herself, I would consider waiting as long as possible. I was looking into this myself and the recommendations I kept seeing pop up were not to try to move them out of their bed during a big transition like a move or with a new baby. If you can hold off for a few weeks until she adjusts to her room and the new house, that may be best. We have a twin bed in our 20 month old son's room right now for the future. He is still in the crib and hasn't tried to climb out yet. He is pretty tall for his age and some people recommend moving them to a bed when their nipples are in line with the crib rail. I think I would prefer to keep him in there until he figures out how to get out. I don't want to mess with a good thing.Good luck whatever you decide. Check out the supernanny website for some good ideas on making the transition. -1Was this answer helpful?
